PKR top guns at Johari’s daughter’s
wedding reception

KUALA
LUMPUR (Nov 18, 2012): PKR vice-president Chua Jui Meng today attended the
wedding reception of Sungai Petani MP Johari Abdul’s daughter.
The
reception was held in a private hall in Taman Ampang Utama where Johari’s
daughter, Dr Nurul Huda, and her bridegroom Dr Noordin Kasan entertained guests
from morning to 4pm.
Johari and
Chua were engrossed in a conversation when they were pleasantly surprised by
PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and daughter Nurul Izzah Anwar (PKR
vice-president and Lembah Pantai MP) who turned up to congratulate the bride and
bridegroom, both dentists.
Johari,
who quit as a Biro Tata Negara (National Civics Bureau) director to join PKR,
was elected MP in 2008. He beat the then Information Minister Zainuddin Maidin
by polling 33,822 votes against
Zainuddin’s 24,441 votes for a 9,381-vote majority.

Johari has
since revealed that BTN or the National Civics Bureau is BN-Umno’s brainwashing
operative to misinform and mislead the people to serve Umno’s agenda to remain
in power.
Johari
also revealed that civil servants were told to promise Malay villagers anything
they want when they go to the ground to campaign for BN-Umno.
However,
they are not to fulfil their promises because as long as the Malays remain
ignorant and poor, they will continue to be dependent on Umno.
Johari
has a Master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the University of Lancaster.
