Chua tells Johor PKR leaders to be ready
for GE13

TAMPOI, JOHOR (Dec 8, 2012): Johor PKR political
bureau state leaders were today told to step up their activities in preparation
for the next general election.
“The
13th national polls can be called anytime and our machinery must be
on ready mode now,” Johor PKR chairman Chua Jui Meng told the leaders in a
meeting in the state party headquarters in Bandar Baru Uda.
Chua,
who is also PKR vice-president, said: “Make sure our grassroots and party
workers or campaigners are all clear of our election strategy in the state.
“We
must now go all out to publicise or activities which must focus on Pakatan
Rakyat (PR)’s proposed people-centric policies to help the rakyat when we are given the mandate to rule.
“The
details are all in our Buku Jingga
(Orange Book) and alternative Budget 2013. Your task is to mobilise as much
manpower and help as possible to disseminate the information to Johoreans,” he
added.
He
also warned the leaders not to become complacent just because PKR and PR ceramahs have been drawing unusually
large crowds in Johor.
“There
is still much hard work for all of us until the general election is over,” Chua
said.
