Keeping up the Bersih 3.0 anniversary momentum
KL112 … the peak of Malaysians’ Power

On 28th April last year, 250,000 patriotic Malaysians nationwide and the world participated in the historic Bersih 3.0 rally demanding free and fair elections.
With this show of determination for a better Malaysia, the rakyat forced the Umno-led Barisan Nasional (BN) government to set up a Parliamentary Select Committee to investigate Election Reforms. But as we expected, the reforms proposed did not fully meet the eight demands of Bersih.
Pakatan Rakyat (PR) in our manifesto for the nation have promised to implement all eight Bersih demands within 100 days of coming to power.
We will have electoral reforms.
We will have automatic voter registration.
We will clean up the electoral rolls.
We will ensure that the voice of the rakyat will not be subdued or compromised and the principles of democracy upheld.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and thank every Malaysian voter who has decided to return from overseas to cast their ballots on May 5, 2013.
Together with your fellow countrymen, we will transform this nation into a land for all of our children and grandchildren to be proud to call home.
I also urge citizens to speak to those voters who are still undecided about returning to vote in this important and historic election. There is still one more week for them to make the necessary travel arrangements.
Return early. Vote early. Celebrate later.
28th of April 2012 was historic, but its significance can only increase come this 5th of May 2013.
Ini Kalilah!
